Island Cove - Oceania Water Park

Your kiddos are sure to love this place!  Oceania has a pool specially designed with your kids in mind...

The kiddie cove is about 2-3 feet deep with built in play ground to keep your kids busy!!!  It is located at the far end of the resort and a bit secluded compared to busy hussle in the other Oceania pools.

A built in play ground in the pool :) is sure to keep your kids occupied, while you relax and enjoy the scenery...

The kiddie cove is just 2-3 feets deep

My kiddos enjoying the dip!!!

View from all sides - simply picture perfect!

Island Cove - Tram

Our ride inside the Island Cove is a electric powered car, called tram.

It is a fun ride and the kiddos enjoyed the scenery!

Island Cove - Family Time

Stayed at Island Cove for a post valentines weekend with my family.

I found a good deal via Ensogo and got a superior veranda room for half the price.

The room is located outside the main hotel.

Bed is too soft for me.

My son had no complaints though!

Regular bath with tub and shower.
It took a while for the water to warm up. I am not very picky, but this bath needs an upgrade.  Tiles are stained, flush needs repair and has an old bath smell.

Our veranda!  It was too hot outside so we never got to spend much time here...
Our room

My son posing by walk leading to our room... in front is a kiddie pool!

Island Cove - Fishing Village

The Fishing Village is one of Island Cove's restaurants.  It serves traditional Filipino dishes, but I guess their specialties are mostly seafoods...

You have on option to dine in one of their dine in huts floating on stilts overlooking the bay (for a min order of P1500) or in nipa huts situated in front of the bay.  Since it is just me and my husabnd, plus two kids we opted for the latter.

View of the Nipa Huts on wooden stilts from our Nipa Hut

The view across our table :C

Our Nipa Hut :)

A light stroll arund the Wooden Walkways surrounding the nipa huts

Good for some picture ops.

We ordered:
Sisig, sizzling fried chicken with gravy , tokwa't baboy and pancit bihon-canton. For drinks we had mango shake.

Price is a lttle upscale and maybe above the budget for soe.  Food is so, so and the Nipa huts blocks the view of Manila Bay...

Service is commendable, staff are attentive and congenial!

Recommendable to friends with balikbayan guests looking for a short worthwhile place to visit near the Metro.

The Fishing Village is open daily from 10am to 10pm.
